Uggi-light.
Fish skin
ca 100 x25 cm

A lamp made of whole dried fish skin. The fish ( Cod ) is captured in Iceland and after we skin it, it continues its journey through the fish factory to be cut and packed for export. Nothing goes to waste. These lamps are of course all hand made. The lamps have been selected in to numerous exhibitions in Europe and USA, the latest beeing at the Scandinavian House in NY curated by Snöhetta.
Uggi-lights are currently for sale at Kraum in Reykjavik Iceland ( www.kraum.is) or by direct orders from us.
