this foetus turned out in my humble opinion. beautiful
I sculpted the original foetus using clay and photos for reference.

That , mixed with my own tactile memory from touching diverse organic body parts of animals, dead and alive in my upbringing in a remote island north of Iceland is what makes my work feel organic . I believe visual reference is extremely important but without a feeling for what real bodies feel like for the touch, you can only come so far.
